With fat loss being the biggest concern among people all across the world, there is a pile of information available over the Internet, ranging from paleo burn diet to eat fat burn fat diets. In spite of so many fat free products and rapidly growing fitness industry people don’t seem to be getting anywhere close to being fit and healthy, rather there are a rapidly increasing number of obese people in America and all over the world. This is the biggest concern raised by Dr. Charles in his EBook fat loss factors.

The book is a complete diet and exercise program designed to reduce body fat in a short period of time. The course explains in detail what you need to do, how to do it and more importantly, why you are doing it and how it will benefit you with your goal. With this plan, you can say good-bye to gruesome workouts or weeks of dieting and fat burner pills. You can also take comfort in the fact that a medical professional, Dr. Charles Livingstone, has created the product.

The book provides a well-planned 2-week detoxification program. This is to primarily rid the body of all of the toxins that have been built up inside, mostly due to the foods we eat. These toxins more than often act a barrier in the quest to burn fat, so following this part ensures better results in the course further. During this 2-week phase, diet with high amounts of fruits and vegetables are planned.

After 2 weeks of detoxification, the main part of the program is introduced that can be called rapid weight loss diet plan. Most of the details have been covered in the book, strategies on what to cook, how to shop, and specific exercise programs aimed at getting rid of excess fat. The program caters to needs of everyone. It provides all the information for people from different age groups and lifestyles. The plan does not rely on a crash diet, or liquid diet weight loss, rather is a healthy diet plan to get lean and fit body with high muscle mass.

In the second phase, the results can be seen very quickly. All those who followed the course have observed inch loss and weight loss. A very systematic diet and exercise plans have been incorporated. The exercises incorporated in the program are best fat burning exercises, and with these you need not spend long hours in the gym. The diet plans also enables one to eat things of their choice like ice creams and cakes, as well.

Overall, what do I think?

From many years of study in Nutrition myself – i would say Dr Charles’ method is quite true.  Having all the backup by clinic studies and the years of research, this concept is no longer a stranger to the world. In fact , for the past few years , people are already talking a lot about it.
If you have tried everything you can to lose fat but it is not working , I believe this will be the last book you will even pick up. Don’t waste your money on other dieting program or fat burner pills, they are not cheap at all. According to Dr Charles, losing fat is simple – you only need to choose what to eat and you can stay fit and fat-free for life.

I am practicing what Dr Charles has taught and  I have also shared with some friends around me. I have only been 2 weeks and we are feeling the difference and seeing the results already. I will post our progress soon. So at the meanwhile, do pick up the book, It will be worth your time and money.

Often a client will come to me looking for some hints that will help them shed some weight quickly. I am always happy to tell them my “secret” tips that are always surprisingly effective. In fact, many people have found these tips to make an easy ten pound difference as they get started on a new program. You might thing that these suggestions are really hi-tech or mysterious, but in reality, they are basic principles that I’ve seen successful over and over again. Here they are.

1 Avoid “white” food. This includes white breads, pastas, many cereal products, and even cracker-type snacks. Think about some other white things too like flour, potato products, rice, and even processed milk and cheese products. Some white foods that are OK for you to eat are cauliflowers, fish, and chicken.
2 Ditch the sodas and other drinks that have calories, sugar, or even artificial sweeteners. I don’t want you to drink much coffee either. Creamer? No. It’s white, isn’t it? I want you to take in at least half the weight of your body in ounces of water. This means that if you weigh 250 pounds, you should be consuming 125 ounces of water every day. This will be essential for getting the fat loss process in gear.
3 I’ve already taken you off white products, now you need to do away with wheat products. I don’t care if the package says “whole wheat” on it or not: it has to go. Check the ingredients of everything you’re eating and if it has wheat in it, don’t eat it.

These three rules are pretty easy to follow, aren’t they? Sure, you’ll have to adjust your habits a little bit, but it really won’t be very hard once you get started. If you consistently adhere to these hints, you will be surprised at the progress you make in just a couple weeks.

Perfect Holiday Turkey Recipe

This recipes is perfect for any holiday feast. healthy roasted turkey

Light, healthy, and very tasty! Herbs are always a great thing to add to your diet.
They have great health properties as well as lots of flavor!

Perfect Holiday Roasted Turkey

This recipe serves:  8

Ingredients

1 whole fresh turkey, 10 to 14 pounds
salt to taste
freshly ground black pepper
3 sprigs fresh rosemary or 1/2 teaspoon dried
4 sprigs fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried
2 bay leaves, crushed
2 medium onions, roughly chopped into 1-inch pieces
3 carrots, roughly chopped into 1-inch pieces
3 stalks celery, roughly chopped into 1-inch pieces
2 shallots, peeled and halved

Cooking Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.

2. Remove the giblets from the turkey and save them for another use or discard. Rinse the turkey, inside and out, with cold water and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper inside and out.

3. If you are using fresh herbs, chop them. Combine the herbs, bay leaves, onions, carrots, celery and shallots together and stuff the mixture into the cavity of the bird.

4. Place the turkey in a roasting pan. Rub the olive oil under the skin of the turkey. Tuck the wings back, under the bird and truss it. ( Google trussing if you don’t know what it is :-) )

5. Place the turkey in the oven and roast until the skin is golden brown and crisp, the juices run clear when the thigh is pierced with a sharp knife, and a meat thermometer reads 170°F, about 3 hours. While it cooks, occasionally baste the turkey with the juices that collect in the roasting pan.

Note: Allow the turkey to rest for 20 minutes and check that the temperature has come up to 180°F. (The bird will continue to cook after removing it from the oven).

6. Transfer the turkey to a serving platter. Remove the vegetables from the cavity and discard. Let the turkey rest for about 20 minutes before carving, and then serve.

A serving of turkey is around 6-7 ounces…. about the size of the palm of your hand.
